Shipping, Freight, and Handling
All pricing is FOB orgin (Freight-on-Board orgin).
Parts and accessories generally ship within 1-2 business days. As all cylinder heads are made to order there is an approximate 3 week lead time. Any backorders or longer than expected delay times will be brought to your attention within 1-2 business days of your order.
Returned Merchandise
Returned merchandise will not be accepted without prior permission from
an authorized agent at Air Flow Research™, Inc. Return freight charges
must be prepaid and include a copy of the original invoice. A 20% restocking
charge is levied on all returned merchandise except warranty returns
due to Air Flow Research™′s error. Inventory exchange with approved authorization
only. Once merchandise has been installed and used no returns allowed.
Some custom ordered items which AFR cannot readily re-sell will not be
allowed to be returned under any circumstances.
Limited Warranty
All products manufactured by Air Flow Research™ are warranted
in the United States and Canada to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase
to the original purchaser. Air Flow Research™ will repair or replace, at
it′s option, any product manufactured by Air Flow Research™ returned prepaid
by the original purchaser when it has determined by Air Flow Research™,
at it′s sole discretion, that the product has failed due to defective
workmanship or materials. When Air Flow Research™ has determined, at it′s
sole discretion, that the returned product does indeed have a warrantable
problem, Air Flow Research™ will reimburse UPS ground service charges
for the return of the cylinder heads and will ship the cylinder heads
back to the original purchaser, freight prepaid via UPS ground service.
Products manufactured by other companies which may be included with
Air Flow Research™ Cylinder Heads and/or sold separately are not warranted
in any way by Air Flow Research™. Any warranties available on products
manufactured by other companies are provided by those companies. This
warranty does cover fitness for purpose and/or merchantability on any
product sold by Air Flow Research™.
This warranty does not cover the following:
1. Failure due to improper installation or maintenance, misuse, abuse,
unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alteration determined at the
sole discretion of Airflow Research. If your machine shop, engine
builder or installer performs any unauthorized repairs, Air Flow Research™′s
warranty will be voided and Air Flow Research™ will not reimburse any
cost you were charged.
2. Removal or replacement costs.
3. Costs incurred due to downtime of the vehicle.
4. Damage to related components
5. Normal wear and tear.
6. Products manufactured by other companies.
7. Fitness for purpose or merchantability.
Implied Warranty
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and/or representations,
express or implied, including, without limitations, warranties of
merchantability and fitness for purpose, and all other liabilities,
including special or consequential damages, in connection with the
sale or use of any Air Flow Research™ product. Any warranties implied
by law are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty, except
those states where prohibited by law.
